This is my first attempt at the portrait of a blond. Their skin coloring is different as well as their hair. I changed the eyes a couple of times and finally simplified them with color in the irises to make them more realistic. I also think I’m getting better at the difficult task of choosing commercial prints in the right values. The lightest value seems to be the hardest one for me. I’m surprised by what works — there is actually a green print in her face in one of the darker tones that I initially rejected, but I saw it with fresh eyes on the second pass through the store and knew it would work.
