Faces in Cloth I

Not having previously worked in a series, I was surprised to find when I finished the quilt “Ama” that I was still intrigued with capturing the human face in cloth. I started this piece, but before I was finished, I had started another one. The result is my first series. I am experimenting with dyeing my own gradations and presenting faces in colors meant to convey the personality of the individual.
